Earning Digital Badges & Certificates of Completion
All Bigger Brains courses will grant you a Certificate of Completion and Digital Badge once the course is completed.

When a course is completed, it will be listed under the Completed tab on the My Courses page. All Bigger Brains courses will grant you a Certificate of Completion and Digital Badge once the course is completed.
Please Note:
Certificates and Digital Badges can be accessed and downloaded at any time after a course has been completed. You can find finished courses under the Completed tab. The course cards will show the date the course was completed.
- Access the My Courses page of BrainStation.
- Select the Completed tab.
Certificate of Completion:
A Certificate of Completion can be downloaded as a PDF for printing or sharing with others. Your Certificate may look different than what is pictured below, depending on the course you completed.
Please Note:
A Certificate of Completion is not the same as receiving a certification. Certifications usually require strict testing, identity verification, and other requirements depending on the certification authority.
- Access the Completed tab in BrainStation.
- Select Download Certificate from the course card.
- The Certificate of Completion will automatically download.
- You can print or digitally share your Certificate of Completion with others.
Accessing Digital Badges:
All Bigger Brains courses will award Digital Badges to Users upon course completion.
Please Note:
Digital Badges showcase the skills and accomplishments gained by completing the course. The Digital Badge design will vary based on the specific course completed.
Through the Completed Tab:
- Access the Completed tab in BrainStation.
- Select Digital Badge from the course card.
- Your Digital Badge page will open.
- On this page, you will see the following information:

Course Data:
- Name
- Seat Time
- Total Lessons
- Description
- Issued & Expiration Date

User Data:
- Name
- Completion Score
- Time Spent to Complete Course
- Skills Earned

Other Data:
- Name of Company Providing BrainStation Access
- Ability to Share the Digital Badge
- Recommended Next Courses

Course Data:
Through the User Profile Menu:
- Click on your profile in the top-right of the screen.
- Select Achievements from the drop-down menu.
- From here you will be able to see every completed course.
- Select Show Badge to access the Digital Badge page for a specific course.
- On the Digital Badge page, you will see the following information:

Course Data:
- Name
- Seat Time
- Total Lessons
- Description
- Issued & Expiration Date

User Data:
- Name
- Completion Score
- Time Spent to Complete Course
- Skills Earned

Other Data:
- Name of Company Providing BrainStation Access
- Ability to Share the Digital Badge
- Recommended Next Courses

Course Data:
Sharing Digital Badges to LinkedIn:
- Access the Digital Badge page for the desired course.
- Select Add to My LinkedIn Profile.
- Once clicked, you will be redirected to LinkedIn.
- The following information will auto-populate into the Add license or certification form.
- Course Name
- Issuing Organization
- Issue Date
- Credential URL
- Optional: Add the Skills listed on the Digital Badge page to the LinkedIn form.
- When finished, select Save.
- Optional: Once your certification has been added, you can share the update with your network.
- Your certification will be listed on your LinkedIn profile.
Please Note:
Selecting the Show credential button underneath the certification will bring you to the corresponding Digital Badge page. This allows you, and others who view your profile, to see Course and User data from when the course was taken.
Downloading Digital Badges:
- Access the Digital Badge page for the desired course.
- Select Download My Badge.
- A Digital Badge image will automatically download.
- You can print or digitally share your Digital Badge image with others.
- A visualization of what the downloaded image will look like can be found below.
