How to Share a Lesson
Yes! There are 3 ways to share a lesson from a course.

When taking a course in BrainStation, you may come across a lesson that would be helpful to share with a colleague or peer. There are three ways that a User can share a course lesson.

Share by Email:
- Send a direct link to a specific lesson through email, with an optional custom message.

Share in Microsoft Teams:
- Send a direct link directly into a Microsoft Teams Chat or Channel.

Share via Link:
- Generate a shareable URL that can be pasted into documents, chat platforms, and other communication channels.
Please Note:
Shared lesson links are temporarily accessible, typically valid for 10 days and limited to 10 views to prevent unauthorized distribution.
Sharing a Lesson:
- Select the lesson you would like to share.
- Click the three-dot icon in the top right corner.
- From the drop-down list, select Share.
Sharing via Link:
- Click Copy from the Lesson Link section.
- Share the copied lesson link wherever you would like.
Please Note:
You can share a lesson link wherever you would like, but remember, shared lessons are only valid for 10 days and limited to 10 views to prevent unauthorized distribution.
Sharing via Teams:
- Click Share in Teams.
- A pop-out box will open Microsoft Teams.
- In this box, enter the name of the Microsoft Teams Chat or Channel you would like to share the lesson with.
- The message can be customized if desired.
Please Note:
You can only share a lesson link to one Chat or Channel at a time.
- When you have added a Chat or Channel select Send.
- Once you hit Share, the recipient will receive the lesson link.
- In the image below, you can see how the message will appear.
Sharing by Email:
- Enter the Email Address you would like to share the lesson with.
- The message can be customized if desired.
Please Note:
You can share a lesson with as many email addresses as you would like, but remember that shared lessons are only valid for 10 days and limited to 10 views to prevent unauthorized distribution.
- When you have added the necessary recipient and message, select Send.
- Once you select Send, the recipient(s) listed will receive an email from support@brainstationlms.com.
- In the image below, you can see how the email will appear.
