As a User: Learner Report: Detailed Report: As a Team Assistant / Team Leader: Course Report: Access Report: Detailed Report: Learner Report: Complete Report: Overdue Report:
Every User in BrainStation can view a report that outlines the courses they have started and the progress they have made in each. Depending on whether a User has Team Assistant or Team Leader access, they may be able to access more in-depth reports.
 

As a User:

 
As a User within BrainStation, you will only be able to view the Learner Report and Detailed Report for courses you have accessed through your account. Follow the instructions below to locate your reports.
 

Learner Report:

 
  • Select the Report page.

 

 

  • Here, you will find your Learner Reports.
  • The Learner Report will give you an overview of which courses you have attempted/completed.

 

 

  • To export this report, select Download PDF or Download CSV.

 

 

Detailed Report:

 

  • To see the Detailed Report for any of these courses, select View.

 

 

  • The Detailed Report will show the following:
    • Session: How many times the course was opened.
    • Status: Whether or not the course is complete.
    • Time Spent: The amount of time spent in each session.
    •  Score: The overall score (out of 100) the User has earned so far.
    • Start Date & End Date: When each session started and ended.
  • To export this report, select Download CSV or Download PDF.

 

 


 

As a Team Assistant / Team Leader:

 

As a User with Team Assistant or Team Leader access, you can view reports for all Users associated with your Team. Follow the instructions below to locate these reports.

 

  • Access the Team Dashboard.
  • Select Reports from the dashboard menu.

 

 

Course Report:

 

  • Select Course Report from the drop-down list.

 

 

  • This will open a list of all the courses available to this Team.

 

Please Note:

Courses in the Microsoft Learn library, Community Courses, and Reseller Libraries will not appear in the Course Report list. Courses built within the CourseBuilder will appear in this list.

 

 

 

Access Report:

 

  • To view the Access Report for an individual course, select View.

 

 

  • The Access Report will show you which Users have attempted/completed the course
  • To export this report, select Download CSV or Download PDF.

 

 

Detailed Report:

 

  • To view the Detailed Report for a User, select View.

 

 

  • The Detailed Report will show the following:
    • Session: How many times the course was opened.
    • Status: Whether or not the course is complete.
    • Time Spent: The amount of time spent in each session.
    •  Score: The overall score (out of 100) the User has earned so far.
    • Start Date & End Date: When each session started and ended.
  • To export this report, select Download CSV or Download PDF.

 

 


 

Learner Report:

 

  • Select Learner Report from the drop-down list.

 

 

  • This will open a list of all the Users associated with the Team.
  • Select View to see all the Learner Reports associated with a User.

 

 

  • The Learner Report allows you to see all the course activities for a specific User
  • To see a Detailed Report for a course, select View.

 

 


 

Complete Report:

 

Please Note:

Courses in the Microsoft Learn library, or the Community Courses library, will not appear in the Complete Report. Courses from a Reseller Library, or built within the CourseBuilder will appear in this report.

 

 

 

  • Select Complete Report from the drop-down list.

 

 

  • From here, you can generate a report based on all activity for all Users and all courses.

 

 

  • Enter a Start Date and End Date.
    • These dates define the period for which the report will be generated.
  • Select a SubTeam from the drop-down field.
    • Choosing a SubTeam limits the report to include only Users within that group.
  • Determine the Status from the drop-down field.
    • You can choose to report on all course activities, only completed courses, or only incomplete courses.
  • Click Get Report to generate the report.

 

 

  • Scroll down to see the generated report.
  • You can export the Complete Report by selecting Download CSV or Download PDF.

 

 

  • To see the Detailed Report for any of these courses, select View.

 

 

  • To clear the fields so another report can be generated, select Reset.

 

 


 

Overdue Report:

 

  • Select Overdue Report from the drop-down list.

 

 

  • This report shows the details on any Users who are overdue on assigned courses.
  • Export this report by selecting Download CSV or Download PDF.
