Hosting SCORM Modules: Creating SCORM Courses:

In BrainStation, you can create courses for your Team via the CourseBuilder. A common question is whether or not SCORM content can be created via the CourseBuilder. This article will address the capabilities and limitations of adding SCORM content to BrainStation.

Please Note:

In order to create custom courses within BrainStation, your User account will need Team Assistant or Team Leader access.

Hosting SCORM Modules:

BrainStation does support SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004 packages. Currently, the ability to upload SCORM packages to the CourseBuilder is not available in the BrainStation User Interface (UI).

To add a SCORM module, please take the following steps:

  • Create a custom course via the CourseBuilder.
  • Add all other modules necessary.
  • Email support@bigger-brains.com with a copy of the SCORM package.
  • Include instructions on which custom course to add the package to, and where in the course the SCORM package should be added.

Creating SCORM Courses:

BrainStation does not include a dedicated SCORM authoring or package-building tool. While 12 module types can currently be added to courses being built in the CourseBuilder, a separate SCORM authoring solution is required if you need to create and export SCORM packages.
